Gina's Designs DT Project: Create Banner

Hello everyone! I hope you are all well today. I have one of Gina's fun banners for you today. This is the C-R-E-A-T-E Dovetail Banner. I have the banner hanging over the area that I keep things I made or that others have made and sent to me. (Excuse the beam - yes my craft room is now in the basement.)
I started with painting the bottom layer in Linen. The next layer is painted with a mixture of Poodleskirt Pink and White. I then used a piece of paper from the Kellerkurtz & Company paper stack.
The doilies are from the Daily Box Sew wall hanging set. I inked them lightly with Vintage Photo and Antique Linen. The letters are embossed with a mixture of Aged Rose and Chestnut. I then
attached them to the banner with pop dots. I punched a whole in each of the corners and the added eyelets. The banner is held together with twine from my stash.

Gina's Designs DT Project: 2 Beautiful Composition Box

Hello everyone. I hope all is well. I know that many of you are busy with school starting again. I don't think it has sunk in that I will not have to crack the books this semester!
Today I have one of Gina's composition boxes. These boxes come with the large box, the three smaller boxes, a wooden key and the chipboard numbers. Currently it shows the number 25 but you can order any two numbers you want. As of this post, you will need to leave Gina a message as to which numbers.
The inspiration I used was my trip to Ireland in 2006. We were there for two wonderful weeks.

All the inner boxes had the outer edges first inked and then I applied some paint in spots. I love how it looks worn.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I hope you have a great day!

Gina's Designs DT Project: 15 Drawer Storage Cabinet Featuring Kitty Scrap Post!

Hi everyone! Today I have a project featuring the digital paper from Kitty's Scrap Post. This is the first time I have used the paper and it won't be the last! I love that you can print off the sheets of paper you want to use for a project. I used the French Seamstress paper and French Seamstress Bottle Caps with Gina's 15 Drawer Storage Cabinet and the new punchelements - 1" scalloped!
One of the great features of the 15 Drawer Storage Cabinet is that you can either attach drawer pulls or use the side with the cut out for the finger pull. As you can see I have used both sides on this project.
The punchelements are so easy to use! I used my 1" punch on the bottle cap sheet I printed off. After I had the pieces assembled. I used liquid embossing over the top of the caps.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Make sure you pop over to Gina's store and Kitty's Scrap Post for some great products that work so well together!

Gina's Designs DT Project - Multi-Purpose Advent Calendar

I know it's "Christmas in July", but I was in the process of moving most of that month so I decided to do a few "Christmas in August" projects. Today I have an advent calendar for you made from the 24 Drawer Storage Unit.  What is nice about making one like this is that you can use it over and over and you decide what kind of goodies to put into the drawers!
Now I know some of you are thinking yes, they are great for the first 24 days of Christmas, but then it's just another thing you have to store!
Well, if you make it that way, but what I did was paper the other side of the drawer into something I can use everyday. Yes, I will have to find a temporary home for the everyday items when it
is time to use the advent calendar but I love the idea of being able
to use items vs having a bunch of things in storage.

I  covered the one end of the drawer with my everyday use paper and attached metal drawer pulls.
The other side of the drawer has the advent calendar. I just pull out the drawer and turn it around.
I did leave the top and sides uncovered to show the beautiful wood. You are able to decorate the top with different Christmas items.
I hope this gives you another idea on how to use Gina's great products!
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
